2006 Haunt
The pic to the right is the only picture of the front facade I was able to take before the TOT's started showing up. It was a last-minute rush to get the outside done. We had 20 mph+ wind gusts all day long and that caused all kinds of problems. Fortunately, the winds died down to nothing just as TOTing started!
When everything was lit up it looked pretty good. There was a blue floodlight at ground level in the graveyard, with a white strobe in the tree flashing upwards, casting eerie shadows on the side of the garage. Plus we had several Tiki-torches lit along the fence, and a total of ten Jack O' lanterns lit.
I did not get to take pics of the inside finished, sorry. Next Halloween I'll be sure to get plenty! We had a total of 5 costumed actors (plus me as the guide) and many props including our FCG-type ghost, Twitchy the torso (motorized), the static mummy / zombie, several corpsed skeletons with coffins, lit cauldron with fog chiller, and a rocking zombie driven by a shiatsu massager motor.
Below are the descriptions and themes we used in '06. BTW - Sarah is a well-documented entity at the University a couple of blocks from my house.

"Mysterious Mummy's of Mansfield!"TM
Found in the cold, dark basement of this 100 year old house, are several bodies, the horrid mummified remains of unknown corpses! They almost look like they are still alive! These "mostly" intact bodies were sealed up in barrels, for reasons unknown, and hidden in a secret room underground.
Where did they come from? Who put them here? Who (or what) are they? Rumor has it they may be some kind of weird experiment from an M.U. Professor gone mad. Could they be the missing college students from 1978? Or maybe something else...?
Special Guest - Sarah, the ghost of North Hall!
For one night only we've been able to get Sarah, the famous ghost of Mansfield University's North Hall, to make a special appearance! For some strange reason she knows about this house, and what was hidden inside. So why does she want to be here? We don't really know why, but we are honored to have her! Come say Hi!
